Return Procedure
Call or Text Checkered Records or email us at info@checkeredrecords.com
1. Share the nature of the issue
2. Checkered Records will provide a Return Authorization Code (and shipping label in most cases)
3. Ship the returned item using the appropriate shipping method
4. Email Checkered Records with the Tracking Number (if a return label is not provided)
5. Checkered Records will provide a courtesy email when your item is received and inspected
6. A full refund will be issued within 10 business days after receipt/approval of your return
RECORD ALBUM, MEMORABILIA & STEREO EQUIPMENT SWAPPING FRAUD: Items must come back to Checkered Records in the same condition they were shipped out in. Checkered Records uses matrix numbers and a 6-10 point “unique-flaws” camera capture to document and protect against “record swapping”. Checkered Records stereo equipment is tagged with tamper proof seals and/or ultraviolet tagging. These measures are to protect against various forms of U.S. Mail Fraud and can also be used to assist customers with USPS/UPS damage claims. Swapped and or altered record albums, stereo equipment and other Checkered Records items will not be shipped back and returns will NOT be issued. In addition, Checkered Records reserves the right to seek criminal and or civil remedies for product swapping under Mail Fraud Statute, 18 U.S.C. § 1341.
